CONSUMER GOODS INDUSTRY VETERAN KENJI GOVAERS JOINS BAIN & COMPANY'S GLOBAL CONSUMER PRODUCTS PRACTICE
New York, Tokyo - January 21, 2010 - Veteran consumer goods expert Kenji Govaers has joined the Tokyo office of global consulting firm Bain & Company as part of the firm's Global Consumer Products Practice. Govaers' appointment was announced today by Paul Meehan, Regional Managing Director, Bain & Company Asia Pacific.
Mr. Govaers brings more than 20 years of experience advising multinational and Japanese companies on developing growth strategies, corporate turnarounds, sales and distribution capabilities improvement and business model re-definition. Prior to joining Bain, Mr. Govaers worked as an executive vice president at another global business consulting firm where he launched its Shanghai and Tokyo offices.
